Cork City Council has prepared an area action plan for the Coburg Street and St. Patrick’s Hill area of the city which was adopted by Council in July 2007.

The Area Action Plan is a “non-statutory” local area plan which is a corporate policy document, amplifying the existing planning policy framework and providing a vision for the future development and improvement of the area.
The City Council’s aim in the preparation of this plan is to promote the regeneration of the Coburg Street and St. Patrick’s Hill area through the enhancement of its physical fabric, development of opportunity sites and transformation of its image so that it becomes an attractive place for all those living, working and visiting the area.
