HIGHER EDUCATION GRANTS

The Higher Education Grants section of Cork City Council is responsible for the processing, awarding and payment of Higher Education Grants in accordance with the terms of the Higher Education Grants Scheme, published every year by the Department of Education and Skills.  An application form and guidance notes form part of this scheme.

Cork City Council accepts applications from candidates who are resident in Cork City and who are pursuing approved Honours Degree Courses and Postgraduate Courses.

If you choose to complete a downloaded version of the application form then you must also download and complete one of the following documents: 

Form FA1 (Courses pursued in the Republic of Ireland) (110KB)

Form SA1 to be completed by Candidates pursuing Courses in E.U. Member State (195KB)

The closing date for acceptance of Higher Education Grants application forms is 31st August 2011.
