Monday 30th August 2010

  • Close Barrack Street from Evergreen Street to Green Street 7.30pm to 7am, re-surfacing works (Lagan).
  • Possible Delays Sunday’s Well Road 7.30pm to mid-night, Traffic Management Stop / Go operation (BT, Eircom).

Tuesday 31st August 2010

  • Close Abbey Street from Evergreen Street to Dunbarr Street 7.30pm to 7am, Tuesday and Wednesday, re-surfacing works (Lagan).
  • Close Albert Street from Station Road to Albert Road (one way), 8pm to mid-night, Tuesday and Wednesday for re-instatement works (CLG, Bord Gais).

Wednesday 1st September 2010

  • Close Barrack Street from Evergreen Street to Green Street, 7.30pm to 7am, re-surfacing works (Lagan).

Thursday 2nd September 2010

  • Close Bishop Street 7.30pm to 7am re-surfacing works (Lagan).

Friday 3rd September 2010

  • Close Fairfield Avenue Roundabout 7.30pm to 7am re-surfacing works (Lagan).
  • Emmet Place street trading.

On Going Works

  • Cornmarket Street will be access only southbound from Kyle Street to facilitate refurbishment works on Cornmarket Street (CLG).
  • Grenville Place & Bachelor’s Quay one way system in place due to quay wall foundation repairs (Cork City Council).
  • Southern Road footpath closed due to wall collapse (private contractor).
  • Gasworks Lane closed due to falling masonry from gable end building (Building Inspectors Office, Cork City Council).
  • There will be no access to Paul Street, Castle Street and Cornmarket Steet from Grand Parade until September 3rd to facilitate refurbishment works.
  • Possible delays on Blarney Road from 9.30am to 4.30pm until Friday 27th August (Roads Dept).
  • Beasley Street will remain closed till Friday 3rd Sept, Roads Dept. (Mc.Ginty’s O’Shea).
  • Perry Street will remain closed till Thursday 2nd September, also possible delays on Lavitts Quay, Roads Dept. (Cork City Council).
  • Convent Avenue will remain closed one way from Strawberry Hill till Friday 3rd September for drainage Dept (Cork City Council).
