Violin maker Jeremie Legrand presents a diverse programme on his latest violin. Performances at 8pm & 9pm. Our gallery presents ‘Layers’ exhibition of paintings by American artist Diane Peters. Learn French through art. Children’s class 5pm; Adults class 6pm.

The award-winning Cosmos at the Castle exhibit will be open from 6pm. When darkness falls, the Cork Astronomy Club will guide visitors in stargazing. The Castle Café will be serving delicious food and ambient sounds in the Café and courtyard.

COPE Foundation will showcase a variety of performances and art work by artists and performers with an intellectual disability. Acts will include dance, drama and music as well as a visual art exhibition.

The Cork Youth Chamber Orchestra will perform in the Lodge Room at 7pm. The Masonic Hall, the home of Freemasonry in Cork since 1845, will open its doors at 8pm with a tour of the building outlining the history of Freemasonry.

As well as our programmed art exhibitions we have some special treats: family fun creating musical instruments (6-8pm); organ music and choral favourites (8.15-9.15pm); and a screening of ‘Norwegian Wood’(9.30pm, 133 mins).
