CCAE invites you to immerse yourself in its projects in collaboration with Meithel Mara. Witness the first ‘Corkumnavigation’ as seen from the bow of a kayak. See the student-built currach and more in the atmospheric lights of Copley Street courtyard.

Church of the Annunciation Blackpool 6pm to 7pm

 Tour this historic church and learn about its history and design by Cork's great sculptor, Seamus Murphy with Ann Wilson, lecturer in Visual Culture in CIT.  Part of Cork City Council's ecclesiastic art and architecture series.

Honan Chapel UCC 8pm to 9pm

This beautiful chapel with its many fine arhitectural features will host a talk on its most significant details by Virginia Teehan, Heritage Officer, UCC. Part of Cork City Council’s ecclesiastical art and architecture series.

SS Peter and Paul Paul Street 7pm to 8pm

Designed by noted architect E.W. Pugin, St Peter and Paul's Church is architecturally one of the finest in the city.  Join architect Gareth O'Callaghan as he discusses the features of the church and the surrounding streetscape. 

St Vincent's Church Paul Street Tel: 021 4275473 6pm to 7pm

On a hilltop above Cork this church was designed by Sir John Benson and built in the Early Gothic style in 1851. The magnificent stained glass windows were created by Messrs. Mayer and Co. of Munich. Information on the history of the church and its windows will be available. Organ recital at 8.00 p.m.
