A special children’s programme will run from 12 noon until 4pm, with Tigh Filí presenting Eurochild Poetry and Art, which will include readings from the 2009 Eurochild Anthology, display of artwork from the book and a poetry workshop for children with Tina Pisco. The Mad Hatters Tea Party will follow, when Alice will ask some daring questions… and following that Cork Film Centre will present children’s animation demonstration.

In addition to games, events and tours of our current exhibition Then & Now: Evolving Art Practices, visitors are encouraged to raid the Glucksman pick ‘n’ mix fashion chest and dress up in their finest 80s-inspired outfits. The Gallery will photograph and project the best costumes to create a Culture Night display.
